Push the limits
Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply.

eomering:

Frodo made no answer. Almost he yielded to the desire for help and counsel, to tell this grave young man, whose words seemed so wise and fair, all that was in his mind. But something held him back. His heart was heavy with fear and sorrow: if he and Sam were indeed, as seemed likely, all that was now left of the Nine Walkers, then he was in sole command of the secret of their errand. Better mistrust undeserved than rash words. And the memory of Boromir, of the dreadful change that the lure of the Ring had worked in him, was very present to his mind, when he looked at Faramir and listened to his voice: unlike they were, and yet also much akin.

Hi Sebastian has this phobia i guess you would call it of eating alone, he won’t eat unless someone is in the same room eating as him, i dont know why and we’ve taken him to the vet to see if it’s a stomach problem on why he wasn’t eating until we started to notice a pattern, only when you’re in the room eating will he start to chow down on his food. So we put his bowl on his side of the table and he eats Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with us. He’ll wait till you’re seated and eating to start on his meal, it’s really sweet, though we still have no idea why he does it.

HOW THE FUCK ARE THESE BABIES SWIMMING I AM 21 AND CANNOT SWIM THIS IS SOME FUCK SHIT

Babies instinctively know when to hold their breathes!
Babies are amazing

what

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!? I HAVE TO HOLD MY NOSE AND THIS BABY DOESN’T HAVE TOO!?

What shitty parent discovered this

babies are naturally able to swim hello they just spent nine moths in amiotic fluid this is instinctive so no, parent is not shitty, parent is re-enforcing baby’s natural instinctive behaviour.

parent is good for doing this because parent is basically saying “yes the behaviours you were born with are great!”

Yup, if babies are ‘taught’ (allowed) to swim before they are six weeks old, they never lose the instincts they were born with that lets them hold their head above water and hold their breath when they need to. SCIENCE, man.

Every single person needs to reblog this. No, it will not ruin your blog, it will make it a million times better.

So much respect. And sadness. He’s trying so hard to stay strong.

i’m tearing :/

wow

No, no, this is horrible. You see, the flag will go to the husband or wife of the deceased soldier as next of kin. This flag is going to the son.
Both of his parents are gone.

I hate seeing things like this…It gets you from the inside out. I will always take a moment and look at this picture though. And I hope you do the same. Not because you feel bad. Not because the face catches your attention. I want you to really take a moment and look. I for one know, I will never know the strength that this kid has as he holds back those tears. This “boy” is already having to step up and be more of a man than many of us have by my age (21).The heart that this kid has…that this man has….I don’t know. I’m left here struggling for words to express how much respect I have for him, as he stands there tall. I can only imagine how hard that must be….

I finally figured out that I’m solitary by nature, but at the same time I know so many people; so many people think they own a piece of me. They shift and move under my skin, like a parade of memories that simply won’t go away. It doesn’t matter where I am, or how alone - I always have such a crowded head.
